Colon hydrotherapy (also known as colonics) is a safe, gentle internal cleanse where purified water is introduced into the colon to remove waste, toxins and built-up deposits. It has been used for centuries and is carried out by Sharon, a qualified therapist, at The Willow Herbal Centre clinic in Harold Wood, Romford, Essex. To find out more please visit the Colon Hydrotherapy (/colonhydrotherapy)page
Sharon is based at Willow Herbal Centre, 2 The Drive, Harold Wood, Romford, RM3 0DU. The centre is a three-minute walk from Harold Wood Station and has parking at the front and side.
Almost everyone can benefit, whether or not you have a specific health concern. Colonics are particularly helpful for people suffering from IBS, bloating, constipation, fatigue, food intolerances, skin problems, anxiety and poor sleep.
Yes. All equipment that comes into contact with the client is disposable, water pressure is very low, and the water is pre-filtered. Unlike laxatives, colonics are not habit-forming and actually help improve muscle tone in the colon.
The whole process takes around an hour and a half from start to finish.
This depends on the individual and the condition being treated. Generally 3–4 treatments are needed to cleanse the colon thoroughly. A course of 6–12 treatments over one to two months is often recommended, followed by a maintenance session every 3–6 months.
No special preparation is required, although following a colon cleansing programme beforehand can help achieve faster results.
Alongside colonics, Sharon offers homeopathy, health and wellbeing coaching, life coaching and food sensitivity testing — all from her clinic in Harold Wood, Essex.
Bookings are by appointment only. You can email info@sharonlunn.com,(mailto:info@sharonlunn.com) or fill in the contact form on the Contact (/contact)page.

Sharon realises that sometimes, cancellations cannot be avoided, however, she does ask that you give at least 48 hours notice should you need to cancel this must be done by phone and not text. The full treatment fee will be charged if you do not give 48 hours notice.
